Each year was run with one month of spinnup (from December 1st of the previous year). The year has been cropped to UTC Jan 1 00:00 of *year*  to Jan 1 23:00 of *year+1*. the additional day is to allow for converting from UTC to local time for each year, and finding hourly precipitation from cumulative precipitation. If the datasets are being concatenated, they should be cropped accordingly for UTC or local time.
